Cosy ambience and excellent warm hospitality of the staff makes it the best experience esp when we travelled 500 km from Bhopal to visit the Tigers.

We came to Tiger’s Den just for a meal and the tiger safari but even in the short while that we were there the wonderful staff made us feel so special and cherished. I wasn’t feeling particularly well so in spite of the sumptuous spread I asked for plain rice and curds. The solicitous staff went out of their way to get me what I needed - making me some lemonade and doing everything in their power to make me feel better. We experienced hospitality at its finest at Tiger’s Den and would like to give a big shout out to the entire team - THANK YOU for everything 🙏

Excellent place and excellent hospitality! We had a very short stay, a lavish lunch and some evening snacks. The place is very well maintained, staff and manager are very courteous and efficient. We will definitely like to return back for a longer stay.

Seventh visit to Tiger's Den and not the last

We arrived for our seventh stay in my favourite country, India, next to my favourite National Park (Bandavgarh), with my favourite guide Jagat and my favourite place to stay! Why? We are passionate about wildlife and tigers in particular. Tiger's Den is located a few minutes from the three main entrances to different zones so ticks all the boxes location wise. We first came in 2010 and we will be returning again. As a place to stay it is just wonderful. Accommodation and gardens are delightful. The restaurant is run by the manager Manesh (who has been there since Tiger's Den opened) and is just the best. We were looked after by Manesh and nothing is too much trouble. We asked for fairly plain food that was not too spicy as three weeks is a lot for a UK person to eat Indian food everyday. We had a different meal every night and it was delicious. Manesh is such a lovely man and he and his staff who we know well always look after us and we so enjoy coming back. Everyone else on Tiger's Den staff have been there for many years too and so we have got to know these lovely people well over the the fourteen years we have been visiting Tiger's Den. The manager Narinder is delightful and his staff are a credit to him.

There is very little to add from us. This was our 7th. visit over a 14 year period. Why would we keep going back if we did not love the place. Gyanendra Tiwari, the General Manager and his team are all delightful individuals who go out of their way to make you feel special. Manish, the Restaurant Manager and his team of chefs concoct amazing food to suit all tastes. 'Chicken surprise' varies every evening. Of course the best naturalist guide in India, Jagat, is a personal favourite as well. We are very well travelled wildlife photographers; we travel to many so-called exotic place around the world and stay at some wonderful places, but nowhere compares with Tiger's Den in Tala......and yes, it is less than 5 minutes from the entrance to the best National park in India....Bandhavgarh. Please go there.
